Recent Graduates Represent St. John School at Quiz Bowl
Four recent graduates of St. John Lutheran School in Seward represented the school at the Nebraska State Fair Quiz Bowl contest for Middle Schools. The State Fair uses the student’s previous school year grade and all four attended St. John Lutheran School last year. The graduates representing St. John at the Quiz Bowl contest for middle schools included Nathan Sorsen, Lauren Wilcox, Brittany Ringler and Jared Kongsjord. All four students now attend Seward High.
The students participated in the Round Robin contest in the morning for placement in the afternoon. In the afternoon, there was a single elimination tourney. Both Sorsen and Kongsjord served as team captain for the event. The contest was sponsored by the NEBRASKAland Foundation and all the team members received tee shirts for participating.
