Wake Charitable Foundation Scholarship Info
STUDENTS PLANNING TO CONTINUE THEIR EDUCATION AFTER HIGH SCHOOL
The Wake Charitable Foundation of Seward, Nebraska is awarding scholarships this spring to deserving high school seniors.
In 1970, Tom and Martha Wake established the Wake Charitable Foundation with the purpose of awarding scholarships to graduating high school seniors in the Seward area. The foundation has now widened its support to include various charitable causes in and around Seward County. This year the Wake Charitable Foundation will award scholarships to students from eight high schools.
The following guidelines will be used in making the selection of recipients:
1. Desire to continue education at a college or technical school.
2. Ability to do advanced work.
3. Need for financial assistance.
Please contact your principal or guidance counselor for further information about these scholarships and for application forms.
Applications must be submitted to your guidance counselor prior to April 1, 2011.
