Scholarship Qualification and Reimbursement Information
Congratulations! You have been chosen to receive a Seward Community Scholarship Award. To qualify for the scholarship payment, you must complete a minimum of twelve college credit hours and maintain a grade point average of 2.00 (on a 4.00 scale) or better.
To collect your scholarship payment please mail a copy of your first semester/quarter grades and the Scholarship Claim Form along with a stamped, self-addressed envelope, to Lynn Schluckebier, Treasurer, PO Box 141, Seward, NE 68434. It is your responsibility to furnish proof of eligibility to the Treasurer of the Seward Community Scholarship to claim your scholarship award. The copy of your grades will not be returned with your scholarship payment. The check will be made out to you, not to your school.
The deadline for submitting your first semester/quarter grades to qualify for your scholarship is January 31 of the year following your high school graduation. You may use the enclosed form to request an extension of the normal eligibility period. It is your responsibility to notify Mr. Schluckebier to request a change in the eligibility period.
If you do not submit your grades and hours to the Seward Community Scholarship Treasurer within 12 months after your high school graduation, it will be assumed that you are forfeiting your scholarship.
