SHS Competes in Quiz Bowl at the State Fair
The Seward “Silver” Quiz Bowl team took home fourth place honors at the recent Quiz Bowl Contest at the Nebraska State Fair in Grand Island on August 29, 2010 at the new Bosselmann Center on the Fairgrounds in the Education Division of the State Fair. Each team played a series of rounds in the morning followed by a single elimination tourney in the afternoon. All participants received free tee shirts.
The SHS fourth place team included Daniel Pfeiffer-Captain, CJ Johnson, Siera Wignall and Bobi Albreht. They each received a rosette.
Other SHS Quiz Bowl teams included Team “Blue” –Zach Bruick, Sarah Moody, Carl Heinicke and Micah Moravec. Team “Gold” Chase Wurdemann-Captain, Sam Brauer, Micah Kohlwey, Brock Lewis and Daniel Buss. Team “Silver”-Brandon Odell, Joey Couch, Brinson Chapp, Jaclyn Pennington and Stacey Chekal. Their sponsor was Clark Kolterman.
